About PSTET
The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is an entrance examination conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Punjab to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools of the state. The test is conducted in two parts – Paper I and Paper II.
Paper I is designed for candidates who wish to become teachers for Classes I to V, while Paper II is for those who aspire to teach Classes VI to VIII. Candidates who are eligible for both levels can appear for both papers.
Application Fee
Candidates appearing from states (other than Punjab Domicile) will be considered only in the General Category with regard to fees. The same fee which is fixed for the General Category candidate (i.e. Rs. 1000/- separately each for Paper I and Paper II), is to be charged from candidates of other states.

Qualification
