Job Security

When it comes to job security, government jobs are always in a better position than the private jobs. It can also be stated that the stability is more here as compared to the private sector jobs. It is difficult to get into the government job but once selection is done then it becomes easy for the candidate. Here job security is more as it operated by the government. On the contrary under private sector there is a big risk of job security since at any point of time one can be removed. There is threat of job loss.

Perks and Benefits

Not only the government jobs offer benefits in terms of job security but also provide other benefits too. Undoubtedly it provides perks and benefits which are more than the private sector like pension, time limit, financial services and the best of all relaxed working environment. The working time is fixed and hence the work pressure is less on the other hand there is no time limit in case of the private sector, generally there is a huge volume of work and has to be done by working the whole day and night.

Job Opportunities

When it comes to job opportunities private sector jobs have an edge over the government jobs. The job offers opportunities which can be availed to climb the ladder of success. Moreover it inspires the employees to work with zeal and courage. This factor makes private sector jobs a competitive one and therefore scope is widespread here. On the contrary in case of government jobs the opportunities are quite less and there is less competition. Therefore the work is done at a slow pace.

Work Stress

When it comes to work stress it can be clearly noticed that its presence is more felt in the private sector because of the work load and enormous pressure. Due to this factor many employees are left with the option to leave the organization. But when it comes to government jobs the stress is minimal and the employees enjoy their work and there is no question of leaving the job.

Hence it can be concluded that the government job provides ample benefits to the employees and a balanced environment for work. There is no danger of job security too whereas the private sector jobs are risky and very competitive. If it is not properly managed than the job comes at stake.
