10 Interesting things that LAW aspirants must know

A few tips for all the LAW aspirants at their final preparation that would help you stay focused with your goal in-sight:

  • Doubts– Clarify all your doubts and make your-self thorough with the concepts and make sure you solve the problems again and again. Make no room for mistakes during your main exam except for the practice sessions. Feel free to discuss your repeated doubts or new doubts with the faculty and talk-over about it with your friends.
  • Revision– The key to success is revision and without it no preparation is of merit. Concentrate on holding on to what you have read. Do not get excited to read new materials, what you have read would suffice. It is better to read one book 5 times than reading 5 books 1 time.
  • Practice numerous Mock tests- The more you practice, the more you get familiarized with the type of questions that would be generally asked and you won’t be feeling left at the loch when you come across certain question. Although, it is not obvious that the same questions would repeat in the exam but the point is “practice makes man perfect”
  • Remain Positive– Stay positive and work hard not paying too much attention on failure of exams or the difficulty levels of cracking the exam. Be confident on your abilities and capabilities. Always remember “God helps those who help themselves”.

Here are some of the important buzz facts that every LAW aspirant must know:

  • Cracking CLAT and other competitive LAW exams: The best things in life never come smooth. Work hard and crack the exams. Even if you don’t do not panic and drop your dreams, work on it till you capture it. Get yourself prepared for any sort of difficulties.
  • Socialize or get-around with people: Once you crack the exam, don’t be an innocent newbie. Start knowing people and take charge as you will be responsible to set your own standards. Socializing is very important part of the LAW school. Be a “suave”. Remember one thing whatever you do, you will get noticed and make sure you do not pass regional comments. A person taking up LAW as his/her career should always be unbiased and diplomatic.
  • Interactive Jam sessions: Do not hesitate or feel shy when you are asked to jot down your views. Eliminate your fear and take this chance to know yourself and people around you better. Being haughty would not fetch you any reward. Be sporty.
  • Competitive Union: This is a very competitive world. The competition may sometimes make you tumble, do not be afraid, you will fall down and climb up again. We all do, Face it with boldness and with confidence.
  • Internships: Start taking up internships as early as possible. Everyday would teach you something new. Start collaborating yourself with several NGO’s and start-up companies for internships and manage your classes and work effectively.
  • The Beginning won’t turn out to be your dream: At the initial stages you may find it quite difficult to cope-up with everything around you like new place, new people, and new type of subjects unlike you expected things to be as per your dreams. Take whatever comes your way, grasp everything you find across. Sometimes you will feel kind of lost, but gradually time will heal everything and you will sink in it. Make a place for yourself, meet right people and find reasons why you want to be in the LAW school.
  • Be Active: Make yourself alive and others remind that you exist, keep doing something, and stay active. Participate in all the events and the exclusive activities for LAW students, the opportunities once lost cannot be re-lived.
  • Stay Calm: Take some time for yourself and stay calm, out of all things you do, this is the most essential one. Winning does not matter, holding on to something is important. Be afraid, make mistakes, learn from it but do not over-pressurize yourself. Breathe! Hold on to your dreams, let you be yourself and you will sure-shot reach where you want to see yourself.
