Higher Education

Education is a way to set mankind free from bondage of narrowness. Higher education is imparted in Colleges under universities which are popularly taken to mean education. Its external test is the possession of a degree.Its intrinsic quality is the possession of a distinctive attitude to life based on intellectualism. Higher education is a qualification at degree level and above. It refers to number of qualification ranging from higher diplomas and foundation degrees to honor degrees and many others.  Further, it means post graduate studies through which you can gain masters. But most of people define it as a source of higher earnings as it reduces the possibilities of dependence on society for financial support.

Higher education is an only source of modernization and development. It is highly affected by commercialization and increase in human growth. It results in increment of home capital development. It is becoming highly competitive in terms of students, staff and various resources. The reason for the downfall in quality of higher education is rising costs and increasing competitions. Now a day’s worldwide interest in higher education has been increased so universities should reposition themselves to meet the need of globalization. Our youth is completely focused on attaining higher education so that they can solve issues arising in our society. They view it as a mode of qualification through which they can get jobs easily.

Higher education has become quite expensive in terms of tuitions and mode of transport. Due to increasing cost, fee structure of universities and institutes has raised up to high level where a common man or a peasant cannot reach. Also a difference in financial background of students is a main issue because some are well provided and some need to struggle to survive, which distracts their concentration.

To improve the quality of higher education there should be a proper supervision of facilities and services that are provided by universities and institutes. There should be an increase in staff and services so that all the students can be put into manageable groups which will help them to attain education in proper and efficient manner. Orientation should be done properly and services like payment of fees and registration should be done by modern facilities. Universities should conduct various seminars based on student welfare for staff and by doing so they can improve their services. As it is clear that impurities in facilities cannot bring positive results so they should be clear and proper. Through appropriate policies we can improve quality of higher education. So to maintain equality in quality and quantity of education, universities need to improve themselves for better results.

In conclusion, we believe that proper higher education decides future of students and it should be good in terms of creating, mastering and resources of science and technology.
