Performance Matter, Degrees Don’t!

Most people think that if they have a higher degree, they have a key to success. But sadly, this is not true. A degree alone is not enough to succumb a person’s achievements. What matters alongside is the knowledge of the person and his will to perform. If the person doesn’t possess adequate knowledge about life’s basic requisites, he will not be able to perform well in life. Students pursue higher education in the desire to earn handsome salaries but they forget that they to go through a long haul in order to achieve their dreams. If they will not perform well, they will not succeed. Therefore, performance does hold significance.

Performance has a vital role to play. Each one of us has to build a path for ourselves on which we can walk through our own efforts. Though we have the understanding of the hard work and efforts to put in but we lack the ability to perform. Each person is an expert in cursing their destiny for not achieving what they desire. But does anyone ever attempt to find out the reason behind it? If they did, they would have found that it is their lacking performance which has created such circumstances. People should have the tendency to motivate themselves and should not give up. This is how they will perform.

Everyone has a goal set in his or her mind. Sharp minds put their efforts on the right track and climb the ladder of success whereas dull people simply keep searching their way to victory. Take an example of a budding organization. There are three categories of employees in every organization. First category comprises of those who are the performers. For them the term failure doesn’t exist. They are the achievers. Second category is of those employees who do not have the tendency to work; rather they pass on their work to someone else and earn the credit. On the other hand, the third category has employees who are not willing to work but are forced to perform. Earning money is not the only motive of life, how you earn that money also matters. One has to work hard in order to gain something. Those who understands the value, holds the right track and one who does not falls in either of the last two categories.

There are people who are great achievers in life but are afraid of trying new and different approaches. This is an advice for such achievers that they should not worry about the result or the consequences of their action. They should look behind and learn from their achievements. People have the habit of speaking but achievers should let their actions speak. They should not stop performing because the more they perform the more they will learn from their experiences.

Education is not complete without a prior understanding of its usage in life. In today’s world many people are educated but still there prevails unemployment. This is because if organizations are paying in perks, they are demanding even more and for this, performance is the only solution to lead a peaceful life.
